We had a lovely community meeting this past week. We discussed upcoming activities such as the East County, Del Mar, and Ramona fairs, the camping trip, and all of the various petting zoos.

Even more exciting, we held officer nomination for the 2019-2020 year! People can nominate themself or another person and each person can be nominated to up to two positions. If you missed out on the meeting, feel free to send us an email or just be sure to come to the June community meeting. Next meeting we will hold elections so be sure to come! The next community meeting will be a potluck at Valle Verde Park ​starting at 6pm ​on June 5th.

We had a phenomenal last community meeting. We reviewed all of the important information for upcoming fairs, talked about future petting zoos, and learnt a little bit about Annual Project Reports (APRs) and record books. 

Remember to sign-up for the upcoming petting zoos, camping trip, and other activities on Shutterfly. Also, think about who our officers should be next year. We are nominating people at the next community meeting!

We had a short and sweet community meeting this month. We talked about all of the upcoming events such as the East County, Del Mar, and Ramona fairs, our multiple petting zoo gigs, Art and Design Day, and a club day at the Cabrillo tide pools. We wrapped up the meeting playing "Honey, I Love You" which everyone seemed to get a kick out of.

We had a lovely community meeting yesterday. We discussed JLC and several upcoming events. Remember, we have a club camping trip from March 8th through the 10th at Lake Jennings so be sure to sign-up ahead of time. This year, the entire club will be participating in Art and Design Day and Super Saturday on March 16th at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. These are great opportunities to show off anything remotely crafter that 4-Hers can do. Also, there is a new Food Challenge which should be a ton of fun. This last community meeting was a lot of fun. We had to move locations temporarily to Deb's barn, but don't worry, next month we will be back at the nutrition room in Poway Community Park. We allocated money from Christmas in the Park and talked about upcoming events such as Super Saturday/ Art and Design Day, Junior Leadership Camp (JLC), and our camping trip in March.

We had a fantastic community meeting and holiday party on Wednesday. We bought some main dishes to share with everyone and then had a potluck for the sides. It was delicious!

The meeting went well and we were able to discuss plans for Christmas in the Park (this Saturday the 8th), new ideas for club hang-out days, and so much more.

From there, we had a white elephant sock exchange that was lots of fun, decorated cookies, and made mini snow globes. Also, thank you to everyone who donated to the toy drive. Your donations will go to deserving families.

Several clubs are taking the month of December off due to families' busy calendars so be sure to look at the calendar to stay updated!

We had a phenomenal community meeting this month. We covered a lot of topics such as the Poway Rodeo, approved the Bylaws and Constitution, and discussed upcoming events such as the Halloween Party, Christmas in the Park, and the Holiday Potluck. We had a wonderful community meeting on September 5th at Poway Community Park. We are so excited for all of the new members that are joining us this year! 

Remember to check the calendar to see the upcoming events and project meetings. Next community meeting will be on October 3rd at 6:30pm in the Nutrition Room at Poway Community Park​​. We will have more t-shirts for sale then.

Believe it or not, this summer is almost over. That means that 4-H is about to start up again. We are holding a kickoff meeting Saturday, August 18th at 3:30pm at Poway Community Park. Everyone is welcome and we are looking forward to meeting new or interested members. Remember, this is a potluck so be sure to bring something to share.

We also want to congratulate all of the 4-Hers that did an amazing job showing at the Del Mar and Ramona Fairs this summer. Good job!
