ABOUT

Poway 4-H is a co-educational youth group similar to boy scouts or girl scouts, except with an agricultural focus.  We believe the key to helping youth to thrive is teaching them leadership skills, and engaging in fun, hands-on activities, under the supervision of youth and adult mentors.
Poway 4-H is a great social club for school-aged youth ages 5 to 19.
Younger members and teens form symbiotic relationships where the teens learn to lead and mentor and the younger members have fun and while learning new skills and aspire to be like their mentors.

Poway 4-H has both community and project meetings on a monthly basis.
Community meetings are the first Wednesday evening of every month and are an opportunity to connect with the entire group. Community meetings are fun by the elected youth leadership team and teach members the legislative process of making a motion and voting.
Youth can choose to participate in some or all of the projects based on their interests.  Click on the project tab for more information about the projects that are currently being offered by Poway 4-H.
Poway 4-H engages in community service events, county fairs, 4-H sponsored events, and full-club social events.
